Student Aid

Beginning in July 2009, Cornell will eliminate need-based loans for students from families making less than $75,000. As the cost of education rises and the economy contracts, such a move is essential to keeping Cornell accessible. To fund this affirmation of need-blind admissions, the university will spend approximately $138.9 million per year on undergraduate aid—97 percent of which will not have to be repaid to the university.

You don't have to create a scholarship to help. Your online gift or payroll deduction goes directly into the fund that Cornell uses to provide aid for students.
