Computing and Information Science

This page is not yet complete. Giving opportunities are still being added to this section.

The solution to every major scientific, engineering, and social problem today and in the future will involve computing. Cornell is one of a small number of institutions responsible for the principles and achievements that helped launch the Information Revolution in the 1960s. In the future, CIS will continue to develop theories and technologies that improve the relationships between people, computers, and information. Its work hinges on having the resources to recruit and retain superior faculty and students, supplied with the means and infrastructure necessary to continue to lead. To start a gift conversation, contact Dean Daniel Huttenlocher, 607-255-9188, dph2@cornell.edu.
