Johnson Museum of Art

Engaging individuals in art and ideas

The Johnson Museum is preparing for the next stage of its evolution, one that calls for the first expansion of its landmark building since it opened in 1973. Fundraising is well under way, and construction of a Study Center is the museum’s top priority. The museum must also obtain new endowed funds to provide for future growth of the collection, the recruitment and retention of personnel, and the long-term success of outreach and education programs. Doing so will enable a radical expansion in its ability to engage individuals in the world of art and in the wealth of cultures, ideas, and history that it represents.
